What if I have a dental emergency?
We know that dental emergencies sometimes happen even if you do everything right to keep your teeth and gums healthy. Whether you lost a crown or a filling or you bit into something that caused some damage, we want to get you taken care of.
If you have a dental emergency during office hours, it is important that you call us right away so we can do everything possible to see you the same business day. If you develop dental pain on a business day, please call us as soon as possible so that we can work to schedule you before your pain progresses. Waiting to call may mean a longer wait for your appointment, which is not ideal, especially if you are uncomfortable.
When you call, tell us where your pain is and what you were doing when you noticed it. That will help us get set up for your appointment.
If you lost a temporary or permanent crown and you still have it, bring it with you. We may be able to repair it without too much trouble.
If it is a weekend, please call the office and leave a message with our answering service. Either Julie, the office manager, or Dr. Nordstrom will call you back promptly.
