Why fix baby teeth? Aren’t they going to fall out anyway?

Yes, baby teeth fall out! Unfortunately, baby teeth can get just as infected as adult teeth. In children, abscesses can be life-threatening. Additionally, baby teeth hold the space for the adult teeth and allow the adult teeth to erupt into the mouth in the correct order. Without them, adult teeth erupt out of position leading to considerable crowding and likely the need for childhood braces.
